Were their any messages that the author was trying to get across?: I think a message the author was trying to send was that even though either your best friend or a close relative is keeping a secret from you don't be negative about it because there might be a reason.
8 Do you recommend this book for others? Why or why not? What age group is it suited to?: I recommend this book to people who enjoy adventure. This book is suited to the age group 9- 14.
